Golden Straw

Golden Straw is the warmest light board in this range — a pale decor with a decisive golden cast, closer to sun-bleached straw than to the cooler blond of Natural Ash.

That warmth is the whole character of the board. It gives a light floor without any of the coolness that pale floors often bring, which makes it a good answer for a room that runs cold — south-facing, grey-toned, or with a lot of glass and stone. The floor lifts the temperature of the space without darkening it.

It sits naturally with cream and warm-white walls, with timber and rattan furniture, and with brass hardware. It is harder to place against cool grey palettes and stark white, where the golden cast can read as dated rather than warm — worth seeing a sample in the actual room before committing.

The embossed woodgrain gives the surface texture and keeps the strong colour from reading flat, and the micro-bevel edges define each plank.

Practically it behaves like other pale floors: dust is well hidden, dark grit shows more. The golden tone is slightly better at disguising tracked-in sand than a cooler pale board, which is a modest advantage in a coastal property.

No species cross-link applies — this is a generic warm timber-look print rather than a specific species reproduction.
