Bali Oak

Bali Oak is the warm end of the Noble Oak range. The base is a golden brown with honeyed undertones, and because the boards are wire-brushed, that warmth collects in the open grain and creates genuine depth across the face of each plank.

Wire-brushing changes how a colour behaves. On a flat-sanded board a warm tone reads as a single even wash; here the recessed early-wood holds more colour than the raised late-wood, so the grain reads as darker lines through a lighter field. Walk past it and the floor shifts slightly as the light angle changes. That movement is the whole point of a brushed floor and Bali Oak shows it more clearly than the paler boards in the range.

It suits rooms where warmth is wanted without going dark — living areas, bedrooms, anywhere the floor should feel welcoming rather than cool. It sits naturally with cream and warm-white walls, with brass and aged bronze, and with natural stone. Against cool grey the golden cast can fight rather than complement.

In Classic grade the knots and colour variation are more visible on a warm board than a pale one, because there is more tonal range for them to sit in. If you want the warmth with fewer interruptions across the floor, Red Earth Oak is deeper and more even; Nordic Oak takes the warmth out entirely.
